Paraffin Wax

Paraffin is a petroleum substance that exists in both solid and liquid forms. this type of wax is usually classified based on the amount of oil and the degree of refining. In industry, paraffin is mostly used as a lubricant to reduce friction between moving surfaces. after production, solid paraffin is prepared in three forms: mold, granule and flake. Paraffin wax is semi-refined and fully refined. its semi-refined form is widely used in the production of rubber products and is distinguished from kerosene, which is another petroleum product and is sometimes called paraffin. Paraffin wax is used in candles and rubbers, wax paper, polishes, cosmetics, for lubrication and as electrical insulation. It helps extract fragrances from flowers, forms the basis for medical ointments, and provides a waterproof coating for wood. In wood and paper matches, it ignites the matchstick by providing a hydrocarbon fuel that evaporates easily.
