Magnesium Stearate is a white powder that is insoluble in water and many typical solvents and is used as a base material along with other stearate salts to create thermal stability in the PVC industry. this material is used in the production and processing of plastics and ABS industries to increase the impact resistance of PS and EPS. Magnesium Stearate is usually added to powders as an anticoagulant, for example in the construction industry as a waterproofing agent in cements and plasters. it is also used as a liberating agent in the preparation of pharmaceutical pills and capsules, also as an emulsifying agent for food.
